What are you watching (DVD, Blu-Ray, VHS)?

i do not think it was, Nan.

i loved Maleficent. she's always been my favorite Disney character. ever since i was a child.  the live action movie just... cemented that so hard. and it was maybe the first movie that i watched and felt such pangs of longing with because my brain and my heart were "This is where I belong" which... hard to swallow because it doesn't exist anywhere but on film.

The Last Witch Hunter is... probably best described as cheesy. it isn't a great movie. but its fun. and its filled with magic. and it has Vin Diesel, so that's always a big plus. you know? also swords. and Michael Caine. and Elijah Wood. and some pretty cool effects. and Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, who kind of strikes me as a big old teddy bear. i mean, i could be wrong. still, i thought it was a fun movie.

watching The Addams Family and, after this is done, i'll watch The Addams Family Values

we'll see if i'm in the mood to watch something after that. i may go with something vampirish. but there's always The Crow, which is one of my most favorites and perfect for the season

Watched Blade & Blade II on Netflix over the past week. I suppose they're seasonally appropriate, what with them being about vampires....
